Congrats to Mary Carr…

Congrats goes Mary Carr who fought a very tough field at the DII State Swimming Championships to finish 17th out of the overall field of 24 in the 50 meter freestyle event. Well done Mary, you represented DC well.

 

Congrats to Walter Miliner…

Haven’t posted pics from Walter’s collegiate signing to Urbana to play football and study!  There you go, Walter.

 

Congrats to Jake and Christian…

Congrats to Christian who won 10-1 and Jake who won 4-2 (OT) at the DIII State Wrestling Championships today. They will continue their quest for state titles at 10:00am on Friday. All the best, lads.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now Serving Breakfast at School

Dayton Christian has begun serving breakfast in the cafeteria from 7:30 to 8:15. The purpose of this is to provide breakfast to those who come to school early in the morning and do not have time to get some food before heading out the door or on the way.

The new menu includes a variety of foods such as bagels, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, cereal bars, cereal, fresh fruit, pop tarts, and various drinks. Any food purchased may be payed for with the students’ meal accounts.
Breakfast is a very important meal. It provides children with energy, and helps them to focus throughout the day. There are certain studies that confirm that students who eat breakfast do better in school. Breakfast is delicious and beneficial. Stop by the cafeteria in the morning to get your day off to a great start.

Mandatory PSEO meeting is March 5, Monday night, in the auditorium at 7:00 p.m. If your junior is interested in classes at Sinclair, Wright State, or  the University of Dayton.

College and Career…

Please mark your calendar for the 6^th of March for the College and Career Fair to be held at Centerville High School.

Four year colleges/two year colleges/trades/ and the  military will all have representatives at this great fair. Many Christian Colleges will also have reps there. The time is 6:30-8:30 p.m. Juniors this is an easy way to start your college search !
